Breastfeeding Multiples Information Session

Multiples Canterbury is pleased to announce a free information session for our members on breastfeeding multiples. This session will be hosted by twin mum and trained breastfeeding peer counsellor Toni Ryan.
She will cover the following topics;
Early breastfeeding (colostrum) and the relationship with oxytocin
Positions for feeding with and without pillows
Support for Māmā from family, friends and health professionals
Internal and external pressure to supplement with formula
This session will be followed by the NICU Information Session at 1pm and the room will remain open over the lunch break.
NICU Information Session

Multiples Canterbury is pleased to announce that we are partnering with The Little Miracles Trust to provide free NICU Information Sessions for our expectant members.
Experienced staff will give a video tour of the unit, present on what to expect in NICU and what support is available to families through The Little Miracles Trust, and answer your questions.
Spaces are limited, so please click here to register for either or both sessions before Tuesday the 28th of July.
Please note that parking can be difficult to find in this area. We recommend being dropped off or using public transportation. The unit is a short walk from the Christchurch Hospital main bus stop.
